UPDATES
pardon me for the recent few trash updates. i've been busy with my blogshop, exhausting myself with the millions of mails and advertising. i've been studying as well, taking in whatever i have missed out from the pass few weeks of school. i am still quite sad over the B i got for marketing (P.S three As and a fucking B). i have really high expectations for myself and it somehow overruled me. but whatever lah, i've got to do better for the remaining four modules. by the way, i went for the levi's lady's fashion presentation last thursday. it was trash. damn disappointing, hoh CCY? TEN THINGS TO TELL
  1) i have no idea why my arm looks so bulky and winssy's eyes, cock in the above pic. it must be the yellow lighting and mirror in the lift!2) homeclub's flea market last weekend was a blast. i bought five tops, a fedora hat, a scarf and a bag (all brand new, puh-lease) for less than 50 bucks! excluding the $28 legging winssy bought for me. -smiles widely- 3) night at the museum 2, thumbs up. 4) i just earned back the 50 bucks i spent last week. 5) mum says i've got the brains, stop being lazy. 6) i've been eliminating friends, literally. if i don't reply your text, it means i don't want to. 7) i have to start submiting resumes for internship because SIA interview is in mid november (graduate, august. pfft) 8) i hate it when winssy comes home drunk. 9) i should stop relying on investments before i fall. 10) i have a new target; to be able to support a car by mid 2010 after being able to support my mum.  finally made space for brother's shoes after dumping many pairs of MY shoes. see the red bag above... achievement, an inside joke ;)Sunday, May 24, 2009

LATE
late entry; haotan's 21st celebration last saturday.      le bar's martell sold out that day. good business. this group of winssy's co. opened 4 bottles. while at third floor, raphale and co. opened 10 bottles and a couple of jugs of beer! no wonder why winssy and raphale always go 'D.I.D'. diploma in drinking. power drinkers man. anyway, i've come to realised that raphale and his girlfriend are really good entertainers, older and easier to click with.FASHION SHOWS

VINTAGE
today, i browsed the internet in search of thrift shops in singapore, besides cash converter lah. i got inspired by sallyjanevintage.blogspot. hehe. i forgot which entry of hers but one of it talks about her rummaging a thrift shop in the US and she got the whole lot, top to toe, for less than USD$16! dirt cheap loh. blame singapore for having minimal thrift shops. flea market also pricey. wtf. there is another entry where she boast about her thrift shopping experience and how she managed to transform a dull dress into beauty. sweeeeee.  back to my topic. the internet is obviously a useful tool, especially search engines like google and yahoo. best. i found a thrift store in singapore that i've never heard of before, overly excited, i dragged winssy down the moment we left house today. and guess whattt... taadaa! awesome grabs for the greatest deal. really. i was told that cathey's deja vu (vintage store) sells such tops at $60+ each (super overpriced one) but i got both ah ma tops plus winssy's vintage bag for less than $60! dirt cheappp. i like thrift shops. HOLIDAY
FRIDAY      last saturday, winssy and i attended the raoul fashion show (fashion festival 2009) located at ngee ann city. mummy was one of the invited VIPs and she got us to tag along but guess what, she backed out at the very last minute! claiming that she was too reluctant to leave the house. so it means that she was just using me to represent her at the show loh. fuck. i wasn't the least bit interested... i shall tell you why.ok, the good thing is, i get to boast. there were many celebrities who were there to attend the event as well. VIPs like us. hehe. we saw andrea de cruz and her mum, patricia mok, david gan, ann kwok etc. 60% of them were stars. 39.9% were super high-end buyers. 0.1% represents winssy and me. you should have seen the botox faces everywhere. gosh. the sight was disastrous. the bad thing of such events is, at that point of time, 'we are in the fake industry.' i overheard this from one of the guys and i thought that it made a hell lot of sense to me. models, celebrities, high-end tai tais. none of them are real and all they ever talked about is money, hungry for fame. that is why i shouldn't be there. i want to be ordinary audrey loh. since i had to represent my mum's attendance, winssy and i went in. everybody were socialising, mingling around before the start of the show. you know, they provide free flow of liquors and refreshments to pass time. all i wanted to do was run home and catch a flick with winssy on the laptop, on our cosy bed. you don't expect me to go up to patricia mok and go 'eh you can host very well hoh? no wonder why your mouth so big'. that was how bad it was. i called mummy and screwed her through the phone and she said 'just pretend, everyone does that. don't act sua ku can already'. wtf. this makes more sense about the fake industry i was talking about... before the show even started, winssy and i left, PRETENDING that we needed the washroom. pfft. so much for high-ends, branding and fame. that is why i always feel that singapore teen model-wannabes should be flushed down the drain because they think that by taking lingerie shots, they are famous. by posing infront of unknown photographers, they are recognised. disgusting loh! i should start deleting my photoshoot pictures. PAST AND PRESENT
 07/05; HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MJ AND SARA!yesterday was the day i met up with MJ and co. after ten long months. it showed me how much things have changed since five years back. mabel, arger, tingying and bk are blissfully married with kids, meijuan is all grown up, MJ is actually taking up private diploma and god knows where is yuru. i guess i'll see her soon. people do change for the better. really...  year 2007, cine year 2007?, CNY  year 2008, M.O.S year 2009... |
last friday, winssy and i went to kallang leisure park to skate. we made a fool out of ourselves, thank god there were no familiar faces around. i wanted to die when i got home. the ache on the joints of my legs were unbearable. no more ice-skating for me. full stop.
